I was an athlete all of my life. I grew up playing a sport, or multiple sports, every season. I was the first born in my family, so my dad was excited to turn me into a tomboy! :) I was one of those lucky kids that was tall and lanky and could eat whatever I wanted...although that could have been because, well, I was young and constantly on the go. After high school I went to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD to play basketball. I ended up getting very sick while I was there and had to leave school.
A few months later I enrolled in business school at Bryant University in Rhode Island and decided not to play sports anymore - I wanted to be a normal kid with a normal schedule and do normal kid things, like everyone else. Well, with my newfound inactivity and "normalness", for lack of a better term, I also found 15 extra pounds! I was extremely unhealthy, eating Easy Mac daily and drinking adult beverages excessively (college). I was on and off again at the gym during that time and my weight fluctuated. By the time I graduated college I was 25lbs overweight and pretty miserable.
I started working a marketing job for a small financial company in CT out of college. Seemingly, life wasn't so bad, but I felt horrible. I was unhappy, negative, had low self esteem and zero confidence.
Time passed and then something happened. I'm not sure what it was - I can't explain it, but something just clicked. I decided I wanted to take control back. I wanted to be a happier, healthier, prettier, more confident person. I joined a gym and lost all the weight I had gained. It didn't happen overnight - it took me about a year. I learned how to sustain a healthy lifestyle, but not deprive myself of the things I enjoy (ice cream, chocolate, adult beverages). I realized that my passion was fitness and it had been since I was a child. I pursued that passion and haven't looked back since. Now every day I wake up and I am happier than ever! I love what I do, I am constantly learning new things, and I love working with all of my clients - they are truly the best!
I began training in 2014 and opened my personal training business, Fit.Strong.Life in 2015. I rebranded to Lemonade Fit™ in July 2019 and opened up a small studio in South End. I have since expanded (in 2021) to a larger location in South End, Charlotte, NC and now have a second location in Oakhurst (2023).
I am a NASM certified personal trainer with two specialization certifications in Women's Fitness, a Weight Loss certification, a Menopause Coaching Certification and an Online Trainer certification.
My husband and I made the big move to Charlotte, NC from Connecticut in 2016. We absolutely love it here and have made Charlotte home with our wheaten terrier, Lucy! Most days you can find us walking Lucy around Plaza Midwood, drinking coffee at a local coffee shop, or relaxing on our front porch.

MEET MADDIE
MADDIE OLFSON
TRAINER
NASM CPT, CNC (Certified Nutrition Coach), GGS PRE & POST NATAL CERTIFIED
Hi! I am Maddie and I am a NASM CPT, Precision Nutrition CNC (Certified Nutrition Coach) and GGS Pre and Post Natal Coach!! I have been active my whole life and have always loved movement! I knew I wanted to go to school for something that had to do with the human body and how to optimize health, Exercise Science enters the chat. I experienced loss in my family at a young age and felt called to reduce the amount of people experiencing preventable health complications.
My "why" is to help you stick around for a long, happy and full life! I want women to be able to feel GOOD, confident and happy in and out of the gym. Training has given me so much and it makes my heart so happy to be able to share that with you!
When I am not in the gym I am walking my two dogs (Coach and Lambeau) on the greenway, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, trying a new brewery, watching Harry Potter or Marvel but most likely napping.

MEET MARIAH
MARIAH MARMON
TRAINER
NASM CPT, PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist), SFS (Senior Fitness Specialist)
My fitness journey began in middle school when I first encountered body dysmorphia. I was always athletic and passionate about sports, I but struggled with nutrition and finding a healthy balance. In high school, I tried various methods to look and feel my best, but without proper guidance, I became overwhelmed by the conflicting fitness and wellness information. This led me into a cycle of excessive exercise, too much cardio, and under-eating/over-eating, which eventually caused burnout. What seemed like a breakthrough in my senior year was quickly overshadowed by bloating, extreme fatigue, and mental health challenges, which pulled me back into old, unhelpful patterns.
In college I encountered more struggles but was introduced to the world of strength training. Initially timid, I quickly fell in love with the process, thanks to the support of friends and the newfound connection with myself. My journey has been full of ups and downs, but each challenge has deepened my understanding and made the experience empowering.
Today, when I look in the mirror, I see a woman with immense potential—a potential I believe exists in everyone I work with. My goal is to help you connect with yourself in a way that empowers you to look and feel your best. I firmly believe that "your health is your wealth," and together, we can unlock the power within!
